Hari Raya Haji; in my opinion, some Muslims usually take this day lightly. Maybe they don't know the history and story behind it. As seen on Wikipedia, Eid al-Adha is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide to commemorate the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his son Ishmael (Isma'il) as an act of obedience to Allah, before Allah intervened to provide him with a ram to sacrifice instead. It's celebrations start after the Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount Arafat. To view pictures taken for this year's Hajj, click on the link below. Great picture quality. Note, those are not pictures taken by me. I showed Mom, she couldn't help but shed tears. InsyaAllah, one day, the whole family. She missed that place so much. "Mak tengok gambar Kaabah, dah tak sedap nak duduk dekat Singapore." :(

On a brighter note, I'm gonna spend my Hari Raya Haji with my loved ones at home. Which includes family and cousins! We're having a get-together cause its been awhile. Whats an Aminian gathering without food right? Haha, so each family is to bring a dish cause we're having a potluck. Everyone's excited right now! I miss the cousins, yknow. Hope it'll be a blast! ;)

So, yesterday my wish came true again, Alhamdulillah. David Archuleta was in town for his performance at Zouk and also an autograph session at Bugis Junction. How can I not go, right? He looked awesome and cute, as always. Hehe, but this time round I didn't get to meet him face-to-face cause I did not purchase his album. So much of a huge fan, eh? Hehe, but I came down so that counts right? Anyways, lots of people were there and I saw some familiar faces. Pictures were taken too but most of it were blur-to-the-max cause the lighting wasn't that good and maybe, my camera sucks. Maybe! Hahah ok here's my favourite shot though. And a video of his entrance, and it potong my steam towards the end. Tsk damn speaker! xD

He's so adorable and friendly. What made me smile was, he sang along to his songs that were played while signing and greeting the fans. Adorable! Ok, I should stop but you guys gotta agree. He's cute right!?
