► Avenged Sevenfold in Singapore 2012

I could still remember the day they officially announced that they're coming to Singapore. I was awake earlier than usual, and somehow decided to check on my Twitter, and I saw a tweet from them saying about touring in Asia and all that jazz (couldnt remember the exact words). So I clicked on the link to see the full tour dates. And I literally jumped out of bed in excitement when I saw Singapore was one of the country listed. I was so so excited I didnt know what to do. After a few weeks, SISTIC released the tickets and I got the early bird ones, which cost much cheaper than the door sales - $98, including booking fee. I was excited when I got my hands on the tickets!

The day then arrived. I wasnt as excited as I was at first. Maybe because I had alot of things to go through first before I head down to the concert. What is it? Firstly, go to the bank with my sister and shop for some last minute accessories to wear for the concert (I know right!), then I got to go to the mosque for my injection, for my Umrah trip insyaAllah, then I can finally head down to Sentosa, where the concert was being held.

Once we reached there, we got to cut through the looooong queue cause brother's friend was in it too, so we joined them hehe! After much waiting and sweat, we finally got in and that part I'm sooo very excited! We waited for about 30-45 minutes for them. When 'Nightmare' began to play, the crowd shouted at the top of their lungs and all of us were being squashed like sardines, including me! Halfway through the song, some couldnt take it and decided to leave the crowd. It was hectic! But I had a great time. They sound awesome live, as always! I must say, despite watching them for the third time live, I still find myself expecting and getting something new everytime. I can't explain any longer, you have to be there for yourself.
I bet you can roughly guess how the crowd is by looking at these pictures, especially the first one. It was crazy I tell you. But worth it! I had so much fun! My favourite rock band of all time, always have and always will.

Assalamualaikum, Peace be upon you.

Oh and if you're wondering, no I'm not the only girl who wore hijab there. There are others too :)
