► Signs Here And There
November 23, 2012 @ 1:01 AM
If you cannot see some obvious signs that are right infront of our eyes, then I guess you need to work harder. Alhamdulillah for the ceasefire that broke out earlier today (Singapore time) in Gaza. Happy for my brothers and sisters who were celebrating and raising up their peace signs and dancing around in joy. Alhamdulillah our prayers have been answered! Even though, we shouldn't stop praying for our brothers and sisters. Maybe there are others who are still in danger, just that we don't know cause the media isn't showing. So, don't forget to keep Allah, Rasul and our brothers and sisters in our prayers all the time, In Shaa Allah Amin.I must say, this sad incident actually made a good impact on me. It made me want to be closer to Allah and actually think less about dunya and focus more on the hereafter and Jannah. And I also realised that I get scared when I want to do things (even good ones) because I'm scared that its wrong in Allah's eyes and I'll get dosa. I dunno how to express this into words but I just want to do good things that will help me in the hereafter and help me enter Jannah, In Shaa Allah. Bottom line is, I just want to work on my relationship with Allah because we don't know when our time will be over, so now since we're still alive why not make use of it and work on it right? Even though sometimes you'll feel like its still not enough. Well, its never enough because we always want the best, especially in this kinda situation. I want to make a change. I want to make a change of myself, for myself. I don't want to be the loud Azryn. I don't want to offend people with my words, even a slight pinch. I don't want to bad mouth people. I wanna change for the better. I know it'll be hard because I won't be doing the things I'm used to do. But In Shaa Allah, if its for the better, Allah will guide me through it. All I have to do is work on it, try, fight my nafsu and just tawakal. In Shaa Allah. ps: Do follow my twitter because I often retweet/tweet Islamic quotes and other Islam-related that are worth sharing and reading. Peace be upon you :) |
