Ola! So remember I said that I wanna eat healthy? Hehe, it didnt fail ok! I'm still trying actually. Most of the times, I find myself on Pinterest or Youtube, trying to find easy healthy recipes to follow, however I will end up with the same old thing. BUT! I managed to mix and match everything hehe smart anot?

The corn chickpeas salad I talked about in the previous post, I added pasta to it to make pasta salad! I love how I can add things to food to make it a whole other meal, if you know what I mean. Oh, and sweet potato is my fav now! Its so easy to cook them, I just pop them in the oven. But you have to cut them thinly. If you dont, they'll talk a looonger time to cook. And they are sooo difficult to cut cause they're hard as rock! Ok maybe not that hard but you get what I mean. 

And you know what? I got tired of the pasta-corn-chickpeas salad after 3 days. Haha! Its still in the fridge now, but thankfully my sister's there to finish it, so yay! Chicken breasts has always been my favourite, so thats awesome. And now I just decide to make normal salad with romaine and spinach with italian dressing, the only dressing I use though. 

Speaking of spinach, I just tried, or should I say get used to eating it. I must say it taste a little weird, like starchy taste, idk how to describe it but its fine to me. Its bad, but its not THAT bad yknow. I could still take it. Its all about the mind chey hehe. And to change things up a little, I use fish fillet! If you're wondering what I marinate the fillet and chicken breasts with - salt, pepper, chilli powder and chilli flakes. Thats all. You gotta add the salt though cause once, I didnt add salt just because I scared its not healthy (blah blah), there's no taste at all! Haha, such a fail but hey, we all gotta learn from somewhere right. Adding blueberry to my oats, hmm I didnt enjoy it that much. I mean, some of the blueberries were sweet, but some was sour. So I didnt like it that much. That wrap, oh! I had it for lunch just now, and it was amazeballs! I spread mustard to it and added turkey ham, romaine lettuce, tomato slices and round spinach. It was gooood! Kinda want to have it again tomorrow. We'll see!

I must say, eating healthy has made me feel good and also, made me be in the kitchen more! Haha. I also practice drinking lots of water too, which obviously result in me visiting the loo very often. But, its good right. And did you know eating healthy can be really darn expensive?! Dang. Whattado, they're fresh produce. 

Before I leave, I just wanna say that I do have snacks and those times where I don't feel like eating healthy at all. I still do munch on those kuih raya sitting in the jar all lonely, I still do eat those cake batik my sister made that is oh-so-heavenly-good, I still do eat what my momma cooks, which I can't pass on, ever! So yeah, I still do those stuffs, or more! I'm just doing this for the fun of it, and hopefully to turn it to a habit. I have no goals, I have no (strict) rules. I just do it. But if I were to have like sweets stuff, I gotta discipline myself and not over-do it. Portion is important! So yeah, I'm still learning. Don't hate. Have ideas on meals? Hook me up.
