► Nephew / Eatzi Gourmet / Novel

Earlier this week I received a new family member, which was so exciting! Hehe. Alhamdulillah, my sister gave birth to a healthy baby boy, which makes him my second nephew! (I have two now of both gender, yay) After waiting for so long, he finally decided to come out haha. He's so cute. He's so small compared to my other nephew & nieces. Ugh so cute!
Welcome Aaryan Uwais! Nampak tak semua suka dan gumbira? Hehe.
And Kak Long made carrot cake-cupcakes with chocolate cream cheese frosting! Surprisingly it tastes niiice. I wasn't a big fan of carrot cake though.

So earlier this semester, Fiqah and I received a voucher from our PEM for JP Pepperdine. When I first looked at the voucher, Jack's Place caught my eye. So knowing that it is not halal, I decided not to look at the other shops listed below it. Then after doing alot of research, Fiqah told me that Eatzi Gourmet is actually halal, which is one of the shops listed in the list lah. So we decided to give it a try yesterday. Mind you, we were so hungry, starving maybe. Both of us had Sauteed Spaghetti on Hot Plate with Grilled Chicken & Fish. Its a Daily Set Lunch so it includes Soup of The Day, Day's Dessert and Coffee/Tea, which I changed to Ice Lemon Tea, add $1.50 :)
The soup of the day was Soup of Pumpkin. It was good, surprisingly! I thought I wouldn't like it because, well I never had soup of pumpkin before. Ate it with the garlic bread that was given, it was niice. Unfortunately, they only gave us 2 pieces of garlic bread, which means we only had one piece each. Hmm..
The main, I must say its a so-so. Nothing so boomz about it. But I was too hungry and couldn't care less. The portion is a quite small though. However, after the whole meal I was really full hahaha.
For dessert, it was ice cream. I dont know what the flavour is though because I was in a rush and finished it all. It was so good! So rich, so creamy. Ah, I wonder what flavour it is.. It seriously is so good.
All in all it was fine. I really wanna try their steak haha! It looked so gooood, with the whole potato by the side. Umph! The service was kinda slow too. Maybe because it was during lunch time and they are short of workers. Pity them, they have to run around, take orders, serve people. I understand its their job, but it was seriously busy.

Few weeks ago while waiting for Suriani, I decided to go to the library to kill time. Little did I know that I'll actually find a good novel to read! It was impromptu I tell you. Actually I thought of just browsing through the books in the library, and just sit around stare blankly at the book but act as if I'm reading. Haha kay. Then my legs brought me to the Malay novels section and this book was the first book I chance upon. Curi-Curi Suka. What a cute title right?! Haha. Those who know me will know that the title suits me perfectly. So without hesitance, I took it and find a spot to sit and start reading. For the first time ever, I completed reading a book in less than a week. I was so hooked to it. It was interesting. Apa lagi bila cinta pasal lepas kahwin. Tak payah nak geli geli sebab semuanya dah halal. And lagi lagi ada part yang boleh buat kita senyum macam orang sawan sebab sweet sangat. Part tu yang best hehe! Believe it or not, I even cried at one of the part. I did, over tak? Hehehe tak k sebab memang sedih! Hais, when am I gonna ever realise that I'm living in a reality and not a fantasy. Well, a girl can dream...
